  1. Why would they be picking dps being healers? What's the point? What good will it do to them and actually how does it have anything to do with my explanation that alliance have bigger healer pool at any given time and therefore they're winning more.
  2. Ilvl restrictions won't change much because alliance will still have more people in the queue and still have more healers. Queue rules need to be changed.
  3. Ok. There is a similar topic about class imbalance, but it steered away to some side talks soo I created a new one. I Have a question - do devs plan to do something about changing faction imbalance between horde and alliance? Horde are loosing more, that's for sure, in a second someone will probably come up with some crazy odds or bullshit that she/he as a horde always wins like 100% of BGs when he/she is solo queuing and ok, maybe some percent of that will be true, but in general it's pretty visible horde are loosing way more than 50% of BGs. The reason is imho simple - healers. During a day there is always 70-100+ alliance in the queue and 0-10 horde which means that horde is being taken almost instantly into the battle and alliance needs to wait a little bit, but... Since queue for alliance is big they always have healers there and they're being taken to the battle. What is it like with horde? DPSes are being assigned as healers to pretend both groups have some sort of healers on the bg and then we have proper healers fighting against dps assigned as healers. For that reason alliance is winning more - it's way more difficult to win without healers than with them. Now - once horde is loosing more they on average have worse gear, because they do get a gear more slowly for honor or cp as some of the people do not do arenas and are not capping therefore. How to correct that? Devs need to change queue rules. They need to make a cross-faction queue or they need to discourage people from playing alliance and make them want to switch horde. The only solution to do that is probably to lengthen a queue. I made some calculations to check how long the queue for alliance is. I run a stoper and checked how many people are being taken off the queue during certain amount of time (8m5s, I stopped stoper right after last bg I've taken into calculation). Here you have the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1k0P70-3kVN4OhAIkDmkR90SoqgyUhLCOxcVf08TmQmE/edit?usp=sharing Screenshot below for those that are too lazy to look at spreadsheet: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v479/vaeryn/PandaWowBgCalculation_zps8ebf2070.png As you can see today some after 2pm server time average time in queue for alliance was below 5 minutes. I would suggest to get rid of instant queue for BG for hordes and experiment with it adding 30s or so delay for horde when joining BGs to meet some goal of let's say doubling queue time for alliance. Why? Because now BGs are just too shitty and it feels like pointless to queue sometimes. You're worn in prideful stuff, you destroy everything in range solo and yet you quite often can't do much as average horde in your team is just dying like a piece of trash not able to defend anything and so on. In my opinion that's not only about horde experience. The nicest fight is when you're fighting against someone doing something right and not when you're fighting against crash test dummies. BGs are probably way more than 50% of attractiveness of that server and it should be taken care of to make the server better.
