does it matter where im downloading the addons

iv tried downloading addons from curses but that dosent seem to work. maybe im doing something wrong. what i do is that i go into my pandawow folder>interface>addons and then i place the file there is that wrong?

Make sure that the folders are right, but as far as I see, it should be okay.

Secondly, keep in mind that curse already upgraded most of their addons to 6.0.3 or 6.1, so that is an option too.

Just select other downloads on the respective page, and download the one for version 5.4.8.

Another solution might be: launch wow, sign in with your account, and before you select a character and enter world, in the bottom left corner there's a button "AddOns". Click on that, and check the "Enable out of date addons" or smthing like that.
