Ok so ive been playing this for quite a while now i think its nearly 1 year soon basicly the way ive been making money for months is by doing proffs JC Inscription Mining Herbing Enchant Ect but i was wondering if i could just go to a place anf farm gold, i know they have capped boss gold as i used to farm some places and get 3k a boss kill but besides doing proffs is there a different way please leave a comment

Bastion of Twilight used to be over 6k gold per boss. I used to make about 50k gold per run on Bastion solo on my prot paladin in just half an hour and 20k gold per 10 mins on subsequent runs (without killing bosses). This is excluding transmog loots I sell in auction. But often, I just vendor all the loots don't bother "wasting" my time in auction.

 

I could see why they nerfed the gold loots on old raids.

 

There's no more such place where you can get even just 1/10 of such insane loots.

 

Sadly, I did not farmed crazy and saved up, I thought it's gonna go on forever :(

You could solo almost any raid or dungeon that you're capable of clearing. Realistically, farming gold like this isn't exactly the best way to get gold, especially if you're aiming to hit the 999k gold cap. You could still get it, but it'll take a long time.

You could do Pandaria dailies to get gold too. There are a few quests that auto-complete and you get quite abit from that.

 

However, you should stick to profs to get gold imo.

Before the gold nerf, I could have made 1 million gold in just 10 hours farming trash mobs in Bastion of Twilight.

 

See, I make 20k gold per run in Bastion gold loot + vendor loot to mammoth.

 

5 runs max per hour (instance limit in wow). I do almost 300k burst AOE dps on my maxed out prot paladin so that is not a problem and can make 20k gold off mobs in just 10 mins. 20k x 5 = 100k gold per hour. Make that 10 hours = 1million gold!

 

But I never did it. to make 1million gold off Bastion of Gold (lololol), you need to repeat the instance 50 times!! You'll probably lose half of your brain doing that straight for 10 hours!!

 

So you see, before the nerf, this is a very viable way to make gold! You can make millions of gold in just one week.

Get Professions on different characters and sell things such as Enchants / Gems , farm rare gems and other rare stuff. That should get you a lot of Gold.
