'Sup yall peasants.

 

This guide is focused on the server anomallies that have some "fixes", that is, a way around them, feel free to correct or to add any info on the comments and I'll add it to the main post(this).

 

1. After mogging, always reequip and then relog so the server can save it.

*Includes cheat engine transmogs, it'll save any mog, including legendaries.

 

2. There is a way to go back to the Firelands even if you die, watch the video below for the way.

3. If you make a class such as a warlock/priest that use some special kind of resource such as the soul shards, burning embers, shadow orbs and etc, always relog so they can be fixed(on the first log in they are not added, thus most of the spec spells are unusable, and resource-generating spells too).

 

4. Do not give your skype to anyone, and, above all, follow this:

1. On Skype, click Tools, then go to Options.

2. A new interface will show up. Navigate to Advanced, then click on Connection.

3. Use port 32535 for incoming connections.

4. Check "Use port 80 and 443 for additional incoming connections."

5. Select "HTTPS" from the dropdown menu.

6. Put the Host as 127.0.0.1 and the Port as 40031.

7. Uncheck "Enable Proxy Authentication" if it is checked.

8. Uncheck "Enable uPnP" if it is checked.

9. Check "Allow direct connections to your contacts only".(I prefer to leave this one unmarked since I'm pretty paranoid).

Go Windows Firewall -> Block the port ( 32535 ) TCP and UDP

 

It works only on a windows PC and when you use only skype on the windows PC.

*Reason - People can get your IP through your skype and DDoS, track and a lot of other infamous actions.

 

5. When you die, type .st without releasing spirit(specially if you do it inside an instance, or even inside a BG) so your corpse can go to where your ghost will be after release, thus you can avoid resurrection sickness or even get a free instant resurrection on a BG.

 

6. Whenever you're willing to download an addon from Curse, go to "other downloads" tab and select the 5.4.8.(or closest possible, but below), the main download is for the retail build version.

 

7. You can acquire bonuses by voting on the website's control panel, on the Vote section. You can get up to 10 points if you vote on all ratings(2 per rating).

 

8. Sometimes repairing your character may cause that his damage becomes lower, so you can just unequip and then equip all of your items and then relog, that should fix it.

 

9. Installing Pandawow and Warlords of Draenor models.

Installing and converting to your language

1. Download the client here.

 

2. After downloaded, right click pandawow folder and go to properties, then unmark the option "read only".

 

3. Now go back to here and download your language, you should get a .wtf file called "config.wtf", which you will place in your WTF folder.

 

4. Now open any of the launchers(x32 or x64, based in your operational system), it should then start creating a folder in Data for your language, example, if you downloaded the English config.wtf then you'll get a folder called enUS in Data.

 

5. You may now log in and play normally.

 

Warlords of Draenor models

1. Download the .mpq files here.

 

2. The files will have a "ruRU" in their names, you'll copy and paste these in Data > ruRU folder, overwritting if there is alredy a file with that name. Also move the launchers to the root folder(pandawow folder).

 

3. Now you'll copy and paste the same files in your enUS, but now you'll change the ruRU in the name to enUS.

 

4. When you open any of the models launcher, you will get a "archived data stream" error and the name of an enUS file, when this happens, you'll come here(credits to Matukaa) and download the files that gives you errors(and save them over the alredy existing ones).

 

5. Open the game through one of the models launcher(x32 or x64, based in your operational system).

 

6. Enjoy.

Your guide is nice but...the "Anti Skype resolver" is not right.. this is the old method.
