I have 50% of my gems 320 Haste, and the other 50% Mastery. Keep in mind that i use http://www.db.pandawow.me?item=99425/hood-of-the-horned-nightmare , http://www.db.pandawow.me?item=99424/gloves-of-the-horned-nightmare , http://www.db.pandawow.me?item=104497/bone-inlaid-sandals , http://www.db.pandawow.me?item=104610/signet-of-the-dinomancers and http://www.db.pandawow.me?item=104502/extinguished-ember-of-galakras with on the latter Crit being reforged to Mastery. Keep in mind that i also use Blacksmithing for 2 extra gem slots, in which i put two 320 mastery gems. Anything that is not Haste / Mastery or with neither of those stats, is reforged into #1 priority: Haste and #2 priority: Mastery. So if i have Crit / Haste on an item (which i likely won't have due to me using PvE gear to replace Crit with Mastery for more Mastery instead of reforging which doesn't give as much as reforging) i will reforge Crit to Mastery, and if i have Mastery / Haste the item won't be touched. So if i don't have either of those stats, i will reforge the biggest stat into Haste, and if i already have Haste or Mastery i will reforge into the missing stat. TL;DR All of this causes outrageous damage, i usually oom Resto Shamans in 3s within 5 minutes, when most of the time in full haste PvP gear you will make that happen deep into dampening. As you know you are likely to play with a Shaman which will boost your damage even more, due to Spell Power and Mastery buff. However, you can prioritize 75% haste gems & 25% mastery if you play with a Shaman due to the Shaman covering your lack of Mastery. This is mainly for Affliction, although i have found this to be a more than viable Destruction build as well, bad problem is you will rely on casting Incinerate more than huge Chaos Bolts, due to your lack of crit. With my build, you rely on them havin no trink or they will stop your chaos/sb at any cost, and i dont really see pve items on x100 so i thought that you were only in pvp gear, so sorry about that.
