Repitchx Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Make a new realm. This realm will be our PTR. PTR = Public Test Realm Remember the old realm you guys made to test cross-realm? This is what I'm talking about. Just make the exact same realm and let us get free Prideful. To prevent people from only playing on the PTR realm, don't let them connect to the cross-realm. We need a place where we can test the bugs (us players). It's not enough for only the dev team to test them. We've seen the outcome and I don't see anything bad with this. I think we still need to change something about the realm, cause I think not adding cross-realm will not be enough. We need to make this a PTR only and nothing more. We don't want people to play on this server, we only want them to test the bug fixes you guys apply. Apply all bug fixes to PTR first. If everything is fine, then move them over to x100 & fun. What do you guys think? 1

However, I remeber back then when they opened for 5.4.8 and later-on with the cross-realm, Juster got disappointed for having none to low bug reports, so I don't think they will risk and open a new realm just for testing! Now, what I think they should do, is make a team of testers, Beta Team, include memebers that know how things work and are willing to test everything and make valied reports about it, if they make this, 100% with-in a month, we would get all the bugs reported :D Btw, I think they will reply: Go to fun realm! XD

XD im pretty sure people would do it now knowing zeox is back. about their reply: ye i think they will say the same. but its not to only test bugs, its so we can actually see if they broke something after fixing a spell. pvp power for pets for instance. on paper it looked like it was fixed, but then we started seeing 120-130k pet bites xD. ^that would be so good to test on the PT realm. if we knew that it would be this buggy, they wouldn't need to add it... yet. after we found out what was causing it, then we could report it -> they would fix it -> apply it on ptr again -> we test it if its actaully "fixed" now -> if it is they can go and apply the fix on live servers.

Log on fun and test whatever u want you can calculate any gear difference please dont try to start "players on fun does more damage" arguments. its simply to just test bugs for all classes with pride. not everyone has a fully geared character on fun and gearing one to test bugs (spells scaling wrong, items giving too much stats etc) is simply just (sorry for being rude) dumb as fuck. why do you think blizzard has instant full gear on their PT realm? we're s15 not s13. we should have the same gear n shit. its a realm where we just test bugs and their fixes.

Reasons: 1) We don't have any free servers to make this, and we don't want buy a new one just for PTR realm. 2) As was already said, we have FUN server, in the same way you can buy free s13 (not s15) and test whatever you want. It doesn't matter what season do you have for calculations, formulas, mechanic tests. 3) We already have testers team, and they are very good in PVP things, they have played on retail and know a lot about calculations etc (like Neff). 4) According to first two reasons, we need to spend money and time for thing that we already have (FUN server), maybe not the same as you said, but very similar to your idea.
