The survey displays pwow and retail ladders and their class popularity. See it for yourself. All calculations were done based on top 200 players on the ladder. 2v2 PandaWoW: Warriors = 28.64% Paladins = 2.16% Hunters = 6.48% Rogues = 4.32% Priests = 3.24% Death Knight's = 2.16% Mage's = 7.56% Druid's = 14.59% Shamans = 19.45% Warlocks = 2.16% Monks = 9.18% 2v2 Retail: Warriors = 7.6% Paladins = 3.3% Hunters = 5.2% Rogues = 4.3% Priests = 11.9% Death Knight's = 5.7% Mage's = 13.3% Druid's = 18.1% Shamans = 10.5% Warlocks = 6.2% Monks = 13.3% 3v3 PandaWoW: Warriors = 10.6% Paladins = 7.4% Hunters = 6.4% Rogues = 6.9% Priests = 4.2% Death Knight's = 9.0% Mages = 12.8% Druids = 15.5% Shamans = 11.2% Warlocks = 7.4% Monks = 8.0% 3v3 Retail: Warriors = 12.1% Paladins = 4.7% Hunters = 8.7% Rogues = 6.0% Priests = 12.2% Death Knight's = 2.8% Mages = 9.9% Druids = 12.7% Shamans = 17.4% Warlocks = 8.2% Monks = 4.7% Keep in mind PWoW 3v3 Fotm meta is still in establishment as the new season has been up for only 2 weeks now, so it might change later on. And this mages nearly destroy every warrior team. Get more mages ---> less warriors. Mage is harder to play than Warrior. So why would anyone play mage? U do know people here do whatever it takes to get rating the easiest way possible without putting too much brain into it. That's the logic here. On top of everything, we have warrior's crazy damage to contribute. But, if only there were more mages like u said... Would make the server much less fotm.
