Is there any major priest bug in pandawow or are they just miles behind the fotm healers? In retail 5.4.8 holy priest / mage was tier 1 comp and it feels the same here if played good, the cc chains are just unrelentless. Shadow can also pair up with rogue / mage. Played sp rsham here and it feels so weak on pandawow (have played rsham sp up to 2488 in Outland - EU.) Insight on why is there so few priests on ladder? zekkenx Posted July 30, 2016 Author Share Posted July 30, 2016 Priest usually plays 2s with a class that has alot of peeling (mage/ww monk) so if they're both good, i dont think that priest could really die before 50% dampening or if the enemy dps has high uptime on him. So what are the real reasons of the lack of priests? They take high skillcap to play at higher rating and people go with the easier way? (mw,hpal,rsham etc) ? If the mage pri is decent they can just counterpressure. War goes on pri, mage gets to control the mw monk and therefore forces war to back off and lose pressure on priest every time monk is in cc chain. Repeat x2 when war monk are out of defensives and win. If the war goes on mage instead, priest can easily get fears on monk, then MC the war so mage can get free poly / rof on monk and continue from there. Dont think BM hunter can ever be problem for priest in 2s, unless playing with a really good rogue/ret and they have high uptime on the priest, even then they would most likely go on the mage. As priest vs BM / x heal just back off and wait out his main cds and continue from there. Kinda l2p issues. I just wanted to know that maybe there are gamebreaking bugs for holy priests that's causing the low popularity of the class/spec. I mean is there a russian report about that already ? Because in their opinion its not lagging at all while u can see a huuuuuuge difference between w**mane and pandawow ping wise.
