Looking for help with MacOSX client.

Recommended Posts

Good Afternoon,

I downloaded the complete mac client from your start up guide. I also changed everything that could be changed in the config.wtf file, to enUS as I cannot read Russian. I go through all the steps, making the applications folder (In which wow is placed) read and write for all users. I also download your pandawow launchers. My mac is 10.9.2 (Mavericks), 8gb of Ram, decent graphics card and I have never had this issue before. It is a 64-bit machine, so I launch the pandawow-64.app. However, the application just continuously bounces on the dock, and never opens. It also has a non-responsive status, so to get it to stop i have to force quit.

Any advice to fix this? i love the server and want to be up and running again as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Myles

UPDATE: Thanks to some help from a member of the forums I managed to launch the game through terminal. I select my character and hit "enter world" but when it gets to the end of the loading screen I get a wow error. Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
