I've re-coded Vanish almost from 0, because it was made wrong, that's why I ask. It didn't work on my version, now fixed too, how it should be.

Nice. Vanish 90% fixed. Chaos Bolt for instance Tested & Fixed ( Vanished > Chaos bolt hits me when I have 3 seconds left of Vanish Aura ) Fixed & Tested with normal stealth ( Removes my stealth ) Fixed & Tested with druids Prowl ( Removes my stealth ) Fixed & Tested with Symbiosis ( shaman prowl ) Stealth gets removed. If you attack someone' date=' it should break stealth, if you have Subterfuge (lvl 15 middle talent), it should proc Subterfuge...[/quote'] A bug on the PTR: Vanish > Cant use spells for 0.5 seconds every icon is grey. Vanish Aura > Attack > instantly removed from stealth & subterforge does not proc it does not put me in stealth therefor I cannot get subterforge to proc. Stealth detection range seems to be better - http://imgur.com/a/p7YkV & stays until the target goes to far away again. My target ran near me ( I saw him ) he ran away and can still see him aslong as I followed him. Administrators Zeox Posted July 26, 2017 Administrators Posted July 26, 2017 If you're not subterforge spec and you use a spell under the vanish aura effect it should put you in stealth I am not sure about this, it doesn't make sense. So you say that I can vanish, use Ambush (to deal damage) and just go to stealth after that? Don't think so. If you don't have subterfuge in my opinion you shouldn't go stealth, just vanish aura disappear and you are without stealth at all.

Try to make more checks, maybe record how it works in all cases, when you get CC / damage spell / damage someone etc. Then others will be able to check it. I want to have it almost fixed blizzlike until it go on live servers.

Repitchx Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 I spoke with repitch and it should be like this this yes. without subterfuge: vanish - auto attack/abilities (ambush in this case) - out of stealth with subterfuge: vanish - auto attack/abilities - subterfuge procs - dead after subterfuge because warriors are broken and no one knows why warrior is broken atm 2

Vanish = dmg protection, read the spell. no damage ability should proc ur subterfuge or without subterfuge, stealth. let me try to explain it Aoe dmg with subterfuge: Vanish - aoe/other dmg abilities - still in vanish as vanish gives 3 sec dmg immunity - after 3 seconds, it will proc subterfuge without subterfuge: vanish - aoe/other dmg abilities - still in vanish as vanish gives 3 sec dmg immunity - breaks as any dmg breaks stealth. just read the tooltip, really simple. vanish & stealth, read both of them. it's all there :P - - - Updated - - - when i say "no dmg ability" i mean NOTHING should break vanish as in dmg. i can upload some videos if needed explaing everything so i dont have to make 200 comments for you, zeox. its really no hassle for me. takes me max 5 min. Subterfuge procs in vanish ONLY when the rogue uses stealth abilities (like garrote , cheap shot) or does DIRECT dmg . AOE damage like blizzard will still do damage to the rogue in vanish but IT WONT proc subterfuge . AOE cc like pet nova will still hit the rogue is vanish but IT WONT proc subterfuge AOE procs stubterfuge ONLY when vanish aura fades by itself and puts the rogue into STEALTH an example : shockwave in vanish 0:47 PLEASE do proper research or just read our reports and fix this ability once and for all . Thanks
