zermatti Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Name of the spell: https://wow.gamepedia.com/Cloak_of_Shadows_(Symbiosis) Issue: Can be CS with COS up (wow.gamepedia.com/Counterspell / https://wow.gamepedia.com/Spell_Lock) How it should be: COS should provides a magic immunity. Date: 15/09/2017
Developers Neff Posted April 1, 2018 Developers Posted April 1, 2018 The problem is all spells that interrupt cast have attribute SPELL_ATTR3_IGNORE_HIT_RESULT, which means they can't miss. And i found some info from patch notes about it https://wow.gamepedia.com/Counterspell Cataclysm Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26): Counterspell will now always hit its target. Hotfix (2011-04-29): "Some interrupts were still incorrectly missing targets. Wind Shear, Spell Lock, Counterspell, Mind Freeze, and hunter pet abilities Nether Shock and Serenity Dust should no longer miss."

It should not crit.
Developers Neff Posted April 18, 2018 Developers Posted April 18, 2018 Idk how it supposed to work, need to find retail movies. it's like having 100% crit and a hunter uses Roar of Sacrifice. It should not crit. It's like Chaos bolt and Roar of Sacrifice. Chaos bolt always crit and even if target have Roar of Sacrifice, it will crit.

behindqq Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Chaos Bolt is special. Back in the days Cos used to grant you 90% spell avoidance or what was that called, it didn't grant you immunity (except for the 1st second), ppl just had 90% miss chance on you that's it. If kicks always hit the target thus these 90% avoidance are being ignored.
Administrators DeadMouse Posted April 21, 2018 Administrators Posted April 21, 2018 Declined. No proofs.
