Must convert to battle .net account problem, have read usual response

I have finally gotten the client to work, with the enUS wtf files, and logon.pandawow.ru and whatnot. However, as the name of this thread suggests, the client does not recognize my username and password that I have registered on the website. I have gone onto the control panel and have selected wow x100 server.

 

I have read the FAQ, read other people's post with same problem. I have downloaded the client three times now from the website. I finally got it to run by making the folder not read only.

 

I have been in multiple private servers before in the past without this problem.
