Hpal mastery

Spell: http://db.pandawow.me/?spell=76669

Issue: Shield stacks up to 33% of your HP in arena

What should happen: Inside arena there should be a max cap of 80k. HOWEVER, outside it should still be 33% of your HP.

Realm: x100 fun cross

Priority: 2-4/10

Proof: http://www.arenajunkies.com/topic/246929-holy-paladin-want-to-assist-to-fellow-holy-paladins/page-4#entry4113857

"Mastery isn't affected by Battle Fatigue but the amount of shield is nerfed inside arena. Outside, you can stack 33% of your life as absorbs, but inside, this amount is reduced (Stealth nerf from a previous patch - 80k max)."

more "proof"

"I wouldnt say you need much mastery, because in the arena you can only shield upto 70k dmg, where as outside of arenas you could build a shield to absorb 100k+ damage."

We're still not sure on the exact value.

But we're sure it's at least under 100k, so we can go from there.

I take Jimjim aka #1 hpal world over a random player

Maybe the max cap should be affected by Battle fatigue? Cuz flat 80k for pvp looks weird. In this case, if pala have 560k hp, cap will be: 560k * 0.33 * 0.4 = ~74k. With stamina buff, pala will have smth around 600k hp and cap will be 600k * 0.33 * 0.4 = ~79k.

That sounds reasonable. Could this be done only to the cap without messing up the generation of the shield? Aka a 100k heal with 25% mastery should create a 25k shield (not affected by battle fatigue), buildable up to ~74k (cap affected).

Yes, sure. I'll try to find some more info about it before making fix, cuz still i have doubts that cap should be different in pvp.

Me too, honestly. I've seen a shield build up to ~54k on retail with a single heal but that's too little to count, we can't be sure about the cap.

R1 hpal doesn’t just say it without a reason. :p

however, the battle fatigue you mentioned part seems legit
