Anti-Virus Problems

Hi,

 

I have a few questions. First one on the website, the second with the launcher.

 

Please let me know if this is in the wrong section.

 

First, on the website. Why does pandawow not use HTTPS, and why are passwords sent encrypted method?

 

Please see below the message I got from my Anti-Virus:

Second of all, why do I need to use the PandaWoW launcher to play the game, and why does the following virus show up when I scan the download?

This virus is found inside the launcher, which I was able to remove using my anti-virus, but I feel uneasy using the launcher to play the game. I cannot use the regular WoW.exe to play the game without the PandaWoW launcher.

Hi Deadmouse,

 

I downloaded the old launcher again and it seems the virus is now gone. I can see the launcher file was changed 4 hours ago, and its clean on my AV now so I'm cool with it.

 

Thanks for the prompt response, and the fix (assuming you guys updated something).
