Test on pandawow:

 

No Hunter's Mark: It damages 15786, 21048 dot ticks -> 21048*5 (tick count)*0,15 = 15786 correct dmg

 

With Hunter's Mark: It damages 17403, 22100 dot ticks -> 22100*5*0,15 = 16575 Incorrect -> 16575 * 1,05 = 17403 (hunter's mark 2x)

 

3. It shouldn't benefit 2x from hunter's mark.

 

Proof:

 

He uses serpent sting on a target with hunter's mark.

Dmg from combat log:

 

Improved serpent sting: 8003

Serpent sting: 21339 (crit)

 

21339/2 * 5 * 0,15 = 8002.5 ~ 8003
