2. Players that fall or jump in the abyss don't take falling damage and don't die, they are instead teleported back at the starting point.

Avoiding resurrection timer, they can quickly rejoin the fight.

 

3. Players that fall in the abyss should take falling damage and be returned at the graveyards.
