Mak'Gora

Starting Monday, a new feature has been introduced in the game: a duel to the death, or Mak'Gora. Until now, it has been in a testing phase, allowing everyone to try it, and defeated players could restore their character via an option in the personal account.

However, starting Wednesday, 26.03, this will no longer be possible, the testing phase will be disabled, and the duel will function as intended—until the character's death. A permanent one.

Additionally, in the personal account, you will be able to view statistics of such duels (in development), and on Discord, we have prepared a dedicated channel for announcements of victories (or losses) in Mak'Gora.

For those who haven't tried such duels yet, here's how it works: in a regular duel, both opponents walk away unharmed (except for bruised pride). In Mak'Gora, however, one of the players dies. The character becomes truly dead—it cannot be resurrected by a spirit healer and is no longer playable.

To challenge another player to such a duel, target them, right-click their character frame (as you would for a regular duel), and select "Duel to the Death." Alternatively, target the player and type the command /makgora in the chat.

Duel requirements: Level 90 and at least one day of played time (only for the Fun realm).

Later, achievements and unique rewards related to Mak'Gora / Hardcore mode will be introduced in the game.
