PvP/PvE question - What do people mostly do these days? (Returning player)

Been a long time since I logged on here last, but as MoP might be coming to retail it reminded me of this server. 

Just curious as to what people do these days, apart from being afk in Elwynn so is it mostly - pvp/pve? & LF guild or discord with active players.
