A new player, a couple of questions.

Couldn't find any other sub-forum to post this in, so I'm hoping I'm at the right place.

Since I couldn't find any answer within the forums, asking about it is my only option.

 

So, hello, My name's, ****, and I'm a player who wants to join the PandaWoW community.I come from retail wow, which I quit a while after MoP came out.

I am looking to come back into WoW but I do not have the time to invest in retail thus making the payment not worth my aviable play time.

Also, I am looking to join with 3 other friends who are not retailers so they are looking for a PS as well. this seems to suit\ us perfectly

 

We are looking for a MoP server and I came across this one which seems proffesional enough to intrigue a Veteran retailer like me (been playing since TBC)

 

I've got a couple (probably more) of questions I was hoping this topic would answer and hopefuly I'll start downloading the launcher asap (Thankfuly WoW's installed already, lol)

 

#1 - what are the server's rates? I saw x5 somewhere, but I wanted to make sure. also, I wanted to know if there are different rates for different servers.

 

#2 - As far as I know, Private servers come with a price - stuff that don't work.

I am aware of that and willing to accpet it, I was just wondering; how much of the content isn't working.

*Is the content uptill Catacalysm fully functional?

*Is most of MoP functional as well?

*is there a known-list of stuff that don't work? including currently known bugs?

 

#3 - I saw there was a shop, are paying members overthrowing F2P members? is there a HUGE unfair benefit for paying? or will I be able to be Top-player without paying a nickle?

 

#4 - How maintaned is this server? Are there regular updates? is this server 'uptodate' with blizzard or is it slowly moving forward with the updates?

 

#5 - How large is the international community and also is the interface in english or Russian, in other words, if I'm not russian, do I have something to look for in this Server?

 

#6 - something I didn't understand about the client.

Do I need version 5.4.2 to play both 5.4.2 and 5.0.5 realms? I am looking to play the X5 server.

What version client do I want to have if I want to play the most stable and most content.

Also, how big is the community in the x5 Servers?

Hi khgs2411, we have a section named "Useful Information" where you can find many answers to your questions. For example, look this thread where you can find all information about rates, working content and more.

1. x10 rate server, and a x100 rate server and my personal favorite insta 90 server (its called the Fun server)

2. Most stuff works, but there are a few bugs here and there like any private server, i play many private servers and this one seems to have the LEAST amount of bugs!

3. If you can afford it, you can get the best gear in the game with real money so it CAN be pay to win, but its very expensive! Its like 10 dollars for one piece of gear! But you will run into some donators who paid to be good! Sometimes you cant avoid it, but with this realms 2 caps a week system, you can also easily get your gear! :)

4. This server is one of the most up to date servers out there, and they fix bugs and stuff daily!

5. There is A LOT of english speaking players! At least in the Fun realm. Just find yourself an English only guild and you're golden!

6. All realms are ran on the same patch now so you can play all the servers with one download :)!

*My opinion of the game* It is a very good private server, it is my favorite! Donators dont have complete control of the game, i have seen only like 1 or 2 maxed out donators so dont worry about that, the pvp is great the Fun server is usually instant bg ques and a great way to learn new classes. Sorry if i am posting this a little late, i just saw this. If you need any more questions answered i can try to answer them! I am just a mere normal member so i dont know everything but i can answer many questions if needed!

Too summ it all up u can choose between not to lvl and to lvl fast and to lvl faster, most of the PvP content work, Pve = Dead, all realms are at 5.4.2 but in a month or so they will update to 5.4.7 (I think) The English community aint that big join a English guild and join the /english channel ingame and u can see for urself, if you play horde I'm Therock I'm pretty active in /english there and if your ally and wanna join a English guild take contact your welcome to join my guild.
