this is my first video (did it to test fraps lol) and I'm not bragging or showing skills or anything like that nor I claim to be a good player, just did it for fun,

why you're not using demonic circle teleport?

why you didn't use unbound will when you had so many dots on you? you can used the shield and healing skills in proper way..

you must uncheck the arena unit frames

gladiatorlossa is so useless addon - imo absolute garbage

most of your skills haven't hot keys for fast response

i saw perhaps 6 macros only..

this green health enemy bar (bottom) is so annoying

you haven't errorfilter addon or running a script with a macro to avoid of these error messages..

I've been in game with this lock for about 2 days (total) which is basically all my MOP (and also lock) experience..

Yes, I know I'm not good, hell I don't even use my pets, my reaction might be bad but I play for fun

and so here's my response..

firstly the bar below isn't my target's health - it's my own hp bar

secondly the fps you see are from the program I used to record this test bg; or if by arena unit frames you mean those group members on the right it might be a good idea to get rid off them even though the don't really bother me

and lastly surviving was not an option for me, I know I could've fleed a long time ago but I just never do that, not unless I can help my team a bit more - be it by tanking with a caster. If you look closely my health was so low that using unbount will would've made my death nothing but more certain, I didn't keep track on my dots but I know some of them are not to be dispelled since they may silence me..

again I'm not a 'pro' and I don't know all the skills other classes have so well at least not yet. I know that in order to be good you must know your skills well but your enemy's even better

I don't keep track guides/builds or strategies. I like discovering them myself since my free time is limited..

so I'll take your advice and try to better my reflexes and find a new song next time =)

PS I admit this was one of my worst bgs - we lost after all and as I said I did it mainly to test fraps

for 2 days of playing with warlock is too poor but it is understandable reason

i didn't see any fps or frame rate indicator in this video

for recording a pvp movie your ui must be clean to be understand by the viewers

surviving with warlock is important for stats and improving your gameplay, because warlocks are squishy against melee classes so learn how to play properly and people to enjoy your content

at 0:11 seconds of your video see your debuffs, you can use unbound will very reasonably to clear them, also you have 4 burning embers + healthstone + dark regneration + unending resolve and dark bargain to survive and don't worry for silence.. silence can be removed with unbound will and insignia or pvp trinket

 

p.s.1. when you haven't free time for learning how to play the game properly do not record videos and instead of this get some little bit of skills

 

p.s.2. who cares if you lose or win a bg with a non geared team random players.. and i think you need to defend yourself and kill other people when you losing a bg

totally agree with that, but if you look at the end of the video I posted the overal result of this spesific bg and a 46 killing blows/ 3 deaths doesn't seem such a bad result for me given the fact that my team mates weren't even trying

 

@sysx thanks for the tips, next time I do a video I'll make sure I be a better player and clear my ui =D, also by silence I meant skills such as warlock's Unstable Affliction which causes silence upon dispell, I don't keep track on them when I see that 4+ players are on me

Well it's easy to make such score with griev gear while the others are still using malevolent. And if you wanna get better, play arenas and duels, not BGs.

about gameplay:

I couldn't really notice what's so heroic in this video, you just did spam fire rain with that 100% talent :) No single-target spells.

1. backpedding ( just bind "s" button and try to not go backwards that way, just use your mouse to spin. )

2. keyboard turning (stop keyboard turning. Use your mouse to spin your character. )

3. stop clicking your buffs.

 

about video:

Music choice is really over-used as someone already said.

cut parts where you're dying at least and reduce the volume of game songs.

(im not really into video editing but these are basics.)

@Tbf there's nothing heroic about my warlock. It's just that those 5 guys killed me and unfortunately for them I happened to spawn at the same base and killed them. Again I wasn't showing "skills" in this video - it was but a test. It's nowhere close to my best. Infact this was one of my worst bgs ever - I only made 46 killing blows for that 23min bg which is 2 per min and I usually don't go below 3-4/min. Recording a full bg with my lock will be boring as fuck as I'm always top dps and it's not requred to have any skill or so just a well build character (I think last time I wasn't top dps/kb it was a bg that ended just as I joined). This is the part that I like about wow - the killing chains (I can't have the same amount of fun at arenas where healers kite and it takes ages to finnish a game). And as for ASDW - I never bind those. It's just how I like it in any mmorpg. I just have enough buttons to bind on my mouse.
