Necrotic Strike (l2p dk) 10/10

2.How it works : It put healing absorb with formula: (avarge ~ 2,25 * ap) * pvp power / reduced by resil 77% // so its taking 225 % from attack power.

 

3.How it should work : It should put healing absorb with formula: (1 * ap) * Pvp power / reduced by resil 77% // on retail its taking 100% from attack power.

 

4.Proofs: http://oi62.tinypic.com/f41pvb.jpg - absorb without brust trinket only buffed with horn of winter. (unholy spec)

 

So calculate how it work now: (~ 2,25 * 62467) * 1,4856(48,56 % pvp power) = 208802,1942 // on player 48024,504666

 

Calculate how it should work as on retial: (1 * 62467) * 1,4856 = 92800,9752 // on player 21344,224296

 

From where I get this avarge ~ 2,25 ? Tested necrotic strike without gear so nothing was modified by pvp power.

Calculate it:

As You can see I have 785 attack power so naturally absorb should be 785 (nothing modify it at this moment),

here 1 necrotic strike result with 1767 absorb.

 

So general formula on Pandawow is currently: 1767/785 = 2,250955414012739 (sometimes its 2,249999 etc but always

stays around 2,25)

 

4.Date : 5/08/2014

5.Realm : Pandawow OBT 5.4.8

6.Priority : 9/10 due huge absorbs on brust with extra attack power

7.Notes: I didnt tested on players cause resilliance works correctly and reduce absorb by 77 %.

How should it work: 100 % of attack power ( and reduced by resiliance) , so its not even worth of spam ( maybe on cds ) like all dks doing here and claim their 3k rating.

 

Any proofs from PTR about how should it work or something? You know, I can just say: "It should absorb 500% of AP" - without any proofs and then what? Noone will care about my words just because I won't have any proofs. So, why then we should believe you talking about how should it work, when you got no proofs?

Something is telling me that this guy is mainly playing DK rotfl. Feeling insecure that they may fix it one day and you gonna have to use more then just a 1 button to win ?

If you think that casting necrotic strike one time for nearly 100k healing absorb is fine then I think you have totally lost your mind or either lack huge part of the brain.

It's reduced by resilience, all 90 lvl players have 75% resilience it's not going to be 100k healing absorb with one strike. The most healing absorb i did in one hit was 80k with my one shot macro.

1. "Something" is wrong. I'm not playing a DK as main character. I bought one 1 week ago and played it just about an hour.

Well it's still a lot and when we add gargoyle haste scaling resulting in casting wraths in less than 1 sec according to my addon. Not to mention the river flow of runic power. It's just ridiculous ;d

 

I said that it's a one shot macro ofc it will hit hard as fuck. Normally it absorbs 30-50k, depending on your gear.

Im not implaying that it souldn't do a lot, when u pop ur swifty macro. But the fact that there is so many bugs on + for a DK that requires fixes and necrotic bug is in the lead along with runic power regeneration.

Runic power and rune regeneration come first, because they are the DKs mane resource.

Blood Tap, Runic Empowerment, Runic Corruption, Sudden Doom, Glyph of Death's Embrace need to be fixed first in order for the DK to work as intended. And if a DK stacks 200k healing absorb that means that the DK is skilled and that you need to l2p, If you let a DK stack that many necros on you then you can quit WoW PVP or just Alt-F4 when ever you see a DK. It is very hard to do that when DK's rune regeneration abilities are bugged.

And the absorb for 1 hit is 30-50k so for 200k stack the DK needs at least 4 death runes leaving the DK with no runes and no way to continue the stack. The DK can continuously create death runes but in PVP situations the DK can't use all of his death runes on necrotic strikes, and those death runes fail because the rune regeneration is bugged and you never know if a death rune going to be available or not, even with Blood Tap. Runic Empowerment and Corruption are completely useless when it comes to necrotic stacking.

Another mongoloid that spreads demagogy. It's not a l2p issue as you seem to implay.

Necrotic Strikes scales way to much with attack power then it should. That's the fact. Period. If you want to argue about it, then let me tell you in advance you are fighting a losing battle. And if you can not admit it then you are most likely blind or ignorant, or both. Leaving that aside. You have mentioned runic power regeneration and rune regeneration bugs. I am aware of bugged rune regeneration which should get fixed as it is main mechanic for dks, but for god sake runic power regeneration sometimes is ridiculous. And that's a fact. It's like a warrior getting 10 rage for every direct damage he takes, complite nonsense.

 

At the end you have mentioned Death Runes failing... well that simply shows that you neither have a faintest idea of what you are talking about nor know how DK's runes supposed to work. I would suggest further examination.

About the Death Runes i mentioned, sometime it happens that you have 2 available Death Runes and you can't use them or when i want to convert an Ice Rune into a Death Rune with Icy Touch it does not convert to a Death Rune but it goes on CD. The runes work like this seance Cata and crap like this does not happen, when i have runes available i can use them. Blood Tap should activate a random fully-depleted rune as a Death Rune but sometimes it does nothing at all. The runes work normally on Pandashan and MoltenWoW why don't they work here?
