Sainik Posted July 30, 2014 Share Posted July 30, 2014 *Characters- Edyrem, AbsorbAbsorb, Sainik, Grappemaker, Etc. *Version - 5.4.2, download from PandaWoW archives. *Description - As of a few weeks ago I have been experiencing severe latency problems while connecting ONLY to the Fun Server. The problem has gradually escalated to the point that I can not load into the game at all. When I am able to get past the 90% on the loading screen, the game immediately lags out. I am unable to mount, dismount, or perform any actions whatsoever. I ran a few ping tests to "logon.pandawow.ru" and I have about a 25% packet loss, although that result varies from time to time. Seems a bit unstable. Others can see my actions in game however I can not see them on my screen. In fact, there are no NPCs or players on my screen at all. Remember, this ONLY affects me on the Fun Server. The x100 and x10 run flawless. *Screenshots Stuck at about 90%. Juster- Read the post to its fullest please. It's not a "Character" its the entire account and EVERY account that I try to log into the Fun server with! I can log into the Fun server on my account on other computers at other houses... but I can not on my computer. Like I said I'm not sure if this is an issue on the server end or my end... but the packet loss I'm getting for SURE is not a character stuck. On a side note. sysx Posted July 30, 2014 Share Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) hm.. obviously you used the second method of downloading the game well this method sucks imo. so just download battlenet wow launcher and install the game from there. when you complete the download installation of wow which you'll get the latest current retail patch, then use pandawow.exe and write this text in config.wtf file which is located in wtf folder of your wow directory. SET locale "enGB" SET installLocale "enUS" SET realmlist "logon.pandawow.ru" if you are using enUS client change SET locale "enGB" to SET locale "enUS". edit: p.s. do you have packet loss in other servers or web sites or in any other game lag problems? have you talked with your isp company? sysx Posted July 30, 2014 Share Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) not sure if the pandawow realms are hosted and located in france and i think hes playing from us, so he should have probably 150+ ms/ping/latency which is normal. whats your connection speed - download/upload? edit: now i checked his trace route and i found this.. probaly he should have average 111 ~ 125 ms/ping/latency or something like this to the game server.. this is the ip ^removed^ of logon.pandawow.ru and this is the ip of his isp or his ip ^removed^ Edited July 30, 2014 by Hijax Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hijax Posted July 30, 2014 Share Posted July 30, 2014 Try disabling your firewall and anti virus for a little and see if the issue is resolved.
