[Raid] The Eye of Eternity

Raid: The Eye of Eternity ( Malygos )

Priority: 3-4/10, most people probably do not care for this raid, but I just really wanted a shot at the drake.

Problem:

1) He dies before Phases 2 and 3.

 

How it should be: Malygos, on Retail, is scripted so that his HP will not fall below 1 before Phase 3 Starts. It only makes sense because you can't get the loot before phase 3. Notice Alexstrasza just kinda floating there trying to give me my loot, but the platform I am on is not actually supposed to be there.

2) Combo points cannot be gained in Phase 3 (Dragon).

 

How it should be: Combo points are gained via Spell 1, expended with Spells 2 and 4. Spell 3 should self cast onto the dragon without having to target the dragon.

 

I've also included youtube vid of me murdering Malygos. :) I just don't have any footage of the dragon part because I suck at life. :(

i watched your video i was suprised that you killed it but the boss disappeared when you tried to loot it but it looks like you skipping some phases during the fight..

so i can confirm this from my experience.. i tried 3 or 4 times before so when i drain the dragon to around 2 M hp then the platform or floor collapse then a red dragon appears and allowes me to ride it and i can use it to attack the boss but that dragon do very low damage and the boss killing it and i'm dying (don't know which phase is this)

Yeah, completely skipped the second phase, where you have to kill the flying guys, and the third phase where you ride the dragon. You're not supposed to be able to skip it though, it's supposed to sit at 1 HP until final phase. During the dragon phase, you're right, it does REALLY poor damage, which is why you wanna get it really low before he flies off, then when you get to dragon phase, you only have to hit it a couple times.

I did all phases,but when i went to ride the dragon i just did so low dmg,and the 3rd spell(stacking heal) didnt even work,so its impossible to get trough the boss.

The stacking heal, you have to target the dragon or it doesn't work. I tried to use Alt (my self cast button), and it didn't work. It literally only worked when I targeted the dragon. Which I figured out right when I was about to die lol.

Okay idk if it does exact healing,but dmg is still not fixed.We can count this raid as useless until its fixed.

Maybe easier fix will be just to spawn chest with mount after you kill him, in whatever phase it is. :)

 

Scripting the vechicles and phase 3 seems not neccesery if only thing ppl want from there is mount or 1 step closer to Champion of the Frozen Wastes Title(achievements work very well, except the one with killing add on disk btw), espesially considering some stuff like Yogg aren't even spawned, and oculus with a similar type of vechicle, don't work either. It would be nice for the whole thing to work perfectly, but 3-4/10 priority for such a messy scripts, considering it's completable and only thing needed is loot, is too high imo.
