Most notable example is (when in human form, since the other forms dont work), casting the demonic circle summon spell. The spell will summon a circle at where the server believes you are at, rather than where you appear to be. It seems to function normally most of the time when used on the ground...it seems to occur more when using demonic leap in the air. Tested with and without the glyph that modifies it, results in the same behavior...the player will 'teleport' onto the ground, but their position according to the server remains in the air. Note that the behavior is intermittent, and sometimes does not occur. How should it work? Not like this. It shouldn't cause npcs to go running towards your previous location instead of to your actual location, nor cause portals to spawn there instead, nor cause the server to stop updating the player's location, and it certainly shouldn't give enemy players "Target out of range" when attacking with melee. Other interesting cases that arise: when you die when bugged by this spell, your corpse moves back to your previous location, though it will fall to the ground afterward and you will be able to release. I'm not sure how the spell should work, but here's a video made by a guy on 5.4 retail, between 53:30 to 53:50, you will see demonic leap in use. Due to the potential for abuse, as well as the awkwardness it causes, I'd rate this at least a 5, up to a 7. Note: there is a round-about method to un-bug yourself, if afflicted by it. Use any other means of teleporting, and it should unstick you. This includes teleport items like hearthstones, as well as demonic gateway. Link to comment
