hfiani Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Name of not working spell/quest/npc etc: Primal Egg Description of the problem: It is staying in my bag even after many days. and it is not giving Cracked Primal Egg. it is always giving "3 days remaining" at first login, and "0 days remaining" after second login (same instance) How it must work: It must give a Cracked Primal Egg after 3 days of the moment of purchase Date when you tested it: i got it 07-06-15 and until today (15-06-15) the problem persists Realm (x100/x5/Fun): FUN (no idea about other Priority of the problem: 6/10 (it gives 1 of 3 mounts, with possibility to have all three) Possible solution: if it cannot be fixed like blizzard intended, maybe you can add a vendor that takes 1 Primal Egg and gives Cracked Primal Egg 1
Fadiii Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 The item doesn't work as the mounts are sold individually for 250 bonuses each in the item shop. It will never ever work. Misc. items that drop mounts will not drop them in the server as most of the mounts are already in the item shop.
hfiani Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 if the item drop mounts, i am not forced to get it by bonuses. as i see it, bonuses are used for items that cannot or can no longer be got in the game. there is ways to get this working. the Oracle egg might have the same issue (also any item that shares a real life cooldown timer). those must be fixed somehow, as item shop is not a way to solve this.

They purposely made it so that mounts like the primal raptors are only available in the item shop. Similar items like the primal egg also does not give the mount that it should, because the server is purposely making specific mounts exclusive to those who are willing to pay for it. It's the same with certain item drops. The mob exists and drops items, but does not drop the specific item just because it looks cool and the server will purposely make it exclusive to make money. How else do you expect the server to keep running? Exclusive items like these mounts are necessary to fuel the server. The item shop isn't a lazy way of fixing things. Sure, they take awhile to fix things, but the server hasn't stooped so low to force people to pay money because they can't be bothered with fixing a bug. It's been this way ever since the server first started up. Another example of this is the raid Firelands. They purposely made Ragnaros not drop it's loot so that the transmogs dropped by him are only available to those who want to pay for it. Edited June 15, 2015 by Fadiii
