Problem: Unstable Affliction is instant when Soulburn in on (which doesn't even consume the effect). The player can spam Unstable Affliction as an instant spell. How it must work: It shouldn't make Unstable Affliction instant in any case (see spell description). Date when I tested it: 29/06/2015 (day/month/year). Realm: Fun. Priority of the problem: 10/10. For all we know, the person could've just used Soul Burn - Soul Swap, which instantly applies all dots, which is completely normal.

The reality is, if you soulburn and use UA, it gives you one instant UA cast... which really is pointless when you could've instead used soulswap and got an instant UA+Corruption+BaneofAgony at the same time lol. This bug actually makes it harder for warlocks, because you unintentionally end up wasting a soul shard making a one sec cast instant, when you could just use insta dots anyway and get a full row of insta dots out for the same price lol.. venomlord1 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) It does make UA instant. so basically the rotation is SB -> UA -> Agony -> Corruption -> SS/Demonic Circle based on where you are and what's your priority. Basically, yes, it's 10/10 but it's not that gamebreaking. My cast time of UA is 0.683 seconds and I rarely see anyone interrupt it. Oh, I forgot to mention(as I can see you all misunderstood him) once you use SB and UA it doesn't blow off any shards. Your SB cast keeps going for it's full duration of 30s and you have enough time to spend it. So you not only get one free UA cast but as many as you can cast for the full duration of SB. So you can have as many UA's applied with no cast time for 30 secs. It's not harder for locks with it. It's easier. You can just reapply when someone just dispelled.
Adlairo Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 He's right tho, why would you waste a shard on an instant UA when you can pull out full dots with it and soul swap to other targets (in 3s), and wasting a soul shard on a cast that can be lower than 1 sec is a gigantic waste, you can also fake cast and then cast UA anyway, something i do as a Mage: Frostbolt - Kick - Poly
