Problem : The weapon is classified as ,,Main Hand'' which makes it unusable by players to transmog 1 Hand weapons into it as it normally should permit.

Even if the weapon isn't available for players normally, I am assuming that if it is placed on the Item Shop should be usable as is Ashbringer and many usually non-obtainable items . At the moment, 50 bonuses would be spent uselessly on it as it has no use.

 

Solution: I suggest changing the status of this weapons from ,,Main Hand'' to ,,1 Hand'' to be used for Transmog.

As an argument , the 5.2 Changelog for Transmorgrification mentioned that around 99,9% of ,,Main hand'' weapons were switched to 1 Hand status to permit transmog. The weapon, by usually not being available to players, didnt suffer the changes.

I hope you can solve this problem . The weapon has a unique look in the game and it would be a shame to not be used for transmog.

I highly doubt they'll do that, customizing an item and creating their own item which is identical but only 1-handed is not that hard to do, they made a custom NPC that's transmoging legendaries so there's a small chance they could do that... but seeing as they made Frostmourne and Challenge gear un-transmogable by the legit way... I think they could f**k this up too instead of making it better... or they'll just remove it from the shop, no item to buy, no problem.

At least on the Fun realm, ALL items should be xmoggable, including legendary or unique items. If this is done in a proper way, then cheat engine and similar software would have no use, therefore players caught using it couldn't possibly say they used it for xmog.

Well, no change. My rogue has the item in her bags and is still ,,main hand''. I wanted to make her a Demon hunter mog, but I learned the hard way that I can't. xD

I meant ,,by the rules'' can't. That's why I made a post, so players might get the officially correct means to mog it. ^^
