What should happen:

 

-Shouldn't be a huge delay. Yes, there should be a delay, but should go in effect very quickly

-Void Shift should still work even if you use http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=45438/ice-block & http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=31224/cloak-of-shadows
