Reveal hidden contents Overall Status Formula = 1584 + 148.5% of spell power (you can see this in the wowhead link posted above) My spell power = 18974 Mastery = 48.61% My pvp power = 34.62% Number of ticks = 10 Warrior's resilience = 80.00% Converting spell power into damage 148.5% of 18974 = 28176 28176 + 1584 = 29760 over the 18 seconds 29760 / 10 = 2976 per tick without mastery Adding mastery 48.61% of 2976 = 1446 1446 + 2976 = 4422 per tick on a pve target Adding PvP Power 34.62% of 4422 = 1530 4422 + 1530 = 5952 Adding Resilience 80% of 5952 = 4761 5952 – 4761 = 1191 on a pvp target Current damage in PvE = 4969, when it should be 4422 Current damage in PvP = 1331, when it should be 1191 Note - All done with a 496 ilvl warlock and 496 ilvl warrior, both without gems and enchants. How it should work - Formula should be applied properly. Priority - 9/10, one of the main affliction warlock spells, this damage difference gets higher and higher the more gear you get.
