Realm tested - Fun realm

 

Date tested - 17/10/2015

 

Spell - Slam

 

Description - The damage is higher than it should, I can't tell exactly what since I don't know the coefficients that are being used in the database. See spoiler for more details.

How it should work - The formula should be applied properly.

 

Priority - 9/10, warriors can literally do over 130k slams in their burst, and you add this with some other bugs such as the untrinketable intimidating shout/~~45k deep wounds, which can make warriors easily kill anyone/anything. Also the damage difference gets only higher and higher the more gear/buffs you get.

You do realise that the 1276 base damage scales with attack power right? Did you at least read the tooltip of slam ingame? There is what 2 k damage on the dummy difference in your calculations which is probably caused by the base damage.

And the damage in pvp? rofl armor can be bugged, pvp power can be bugged, resil can be bugged, pvp calculations are irrelevant.

Your info was indeed very useful, specially your screenshot, with made me realize about a function that I until now remained unknown to me, the detailed spells formula that are alredy built in the client.

 

I remade the entire formula(and I'll probably do it with other spells too) and I got a more accurate result, which is now posted.

 

There is still a difference from what it should to what it is.

This option only helps in certain situations, still, useful.

hm ...

Actually warrior is pretty op here yes but you won't fix that if slam is doing 200 less dmg :l.

 

Just a tip : you will find a dmg overscale in EVERY spell ! I almost think that resil. is bugged.

I remember when i came from retail here and i was like "Holy shit the dmg here from EVERY class is by far more than it was on retail".

After i asked shelby to play here on pandawow aswell, he told me the same thing after 2 days.

Really i would check resil or something, otherwise you will have to report every spell here :D

Ask an administrator to check it, I can do little to nothing, specially without help.
