Lost double the bonuses on faction change

The title says it all , I have no idea what happened, just wanted to transfer my Tauren to a Night Elf.....

At one moment I had 486 bonuses and then it asked me if I want to confirm the "payment" .. I did and it said transfer successful ..but I had only 166 bonuses left.

Please help :(
