PvP Tournament - Community Poll

Hello, as you see from the title, this is about Tournaments.

As from yesterday, I got a message from someone in Pandawow's Facebook page with a name of Alex, willing to give us some tournaments / Playoffs.

 

I'll just say from what I've been told.

 

1) I want to create PVP Tournaments in PandaWow. Our idea is create a weblog with Leaderboards or Playoffs.

 

2) They must meet conditions, for example, inactive players can be deleted before 1-2 month.

 

3) I would to like to know what can be a good Award for players.

 

4) If we get a high influx of people, it would be interesting to formalize the tournament. Maybe we could do 'fast tournaments' to a function test before.

 

5) *****-Tournament.com. It was creating tournaments (the people and players like it). I would ike to know if it's possible to broadcast with a GM camera? Than can we upload to youtube, fb, vimeo etc, like this:

It must be hard to make these events, but not impossible with the support of a willing group.

 

Messenger ( Not me ) : I'm graphic designer and I can do the logo, banners, web (wordpress), always with PandaWow cooperation/suggest. Direct link/banners to pandawow.ru. Pandawow will have accesss to AdminPanel of wordpress. We will show you full transparency in everything we do.

 

We are looking the possibility to do Ethics Standards, demanding utmost respect between players.Perhaps with "yellow/red card" as warning / punishment.

They used to do events some time aqo, tho only did 3 or so 10v10s and didnt really want to do any more, so I vote yes.

Tho there could be 1 problem, it Deppends if the winner prize will be and if the people will like it.

They should fix major bugs first before they start to sponsor tournaments and other stuff.

I believe season reset has not yet come to its place because they want to start new fresh season with good bug fixes.

There is no place for sponsoring a tournament if they can't even fix major bugs so no, I disagree.

tournaments aren't worth it on here, maybe if there was a rule that a single bug is being abused that team gets disqualified instantly, or that the organizers actually know how to fucking time everything, except of having to wait over an hour for the first team to play

I can give you so many examples of bugs which would make the tournament look like shit and completely unbalanced.

adlairo said he hasn't seen you playing rmd/rmp and I don't blame him at all cause all the games you played as rmd and got 2.4 were in a short period of time . like rep was 1.6 early December when I played with him . also you are always playing other comps so yeah .

Many of you are oblivious to the fact that Nemi never actually mentioned a date for this, so I don't know why you're saying things like "we need fixes first so I disagree".

It may be true that we need fixes, yes, but even with those fixes, are you disagreeing with the whole idea of a PvP tournament? Clarity is a necessity :3

 

I'd like this idea to be implemented - not for me personally, but I'd just like more activity from the server. This server doesn't necessarily need to be blizzlike in every aspect, just balance wise.
