Yo guys.

 

So, recently, I did alot of math nerding even 'tho my math is 0. I basically tried to figure out what's wrong with Bite damage on BM Hunter Devilsaur pet people have been complaining about.

 

And tbh, I got strange numbers. It seems to me as pets aren't affected by PvP Power at all & the damage in PvE is actually not broken.

 

That's why I ask anyone here who can examine my math a little bit and see if I made a mistake somewhere and let me know before I make more false reports.

 

Formula:

 

 

  Reveal hidden contents

 

Bite: Bite

 

RAP (Ranged Attack Power) = 25247

PvP Power = 34.62%

PvP Resilience = 80.00%

 

Formula:

 

((1.5 * (118 + 166 / 2 + RAP * 0.168)))

((1.5 * (118 + 166 / 2 + 25247 * 0.168))) = 6507 / 6791

 

Damage bonus by 100% if pet has above 50 or more focus.

 

Damage on tooltip = 6575

Double damage on dummy (100% bonus) = 13037

 

Ferocity Spec:

 

Damage on tooltip = 6596

Double damage on dummy (including spec buffs) = 21446

 

Combat experience = 50% bonus

Spiked Collar = 10% bonus.

Bite = 100% bonus if above 50 focus.

 

6596 + 100% + 50% + 10% = 21766

 

Damage I got: 21508 = correct.

Bestial Wrath: 20% bonus.

 

21766 + 20% = 26119

 

Damage I got: 25712 = correct.

On players:

 

21426 - 80% resilience = 4285

4285 + 34.62% PvP Power = 5768

 

Damage I got: 4271
