Battle Training

So i've bought a pet earlier today, and right away i hopped into the game and tried to lvl it up.

I went to [Varzok] and all he sold was pets.

Then i logged into my Alliance character to try it out there, and then i went to [Audrey Burnhep] and all she had as options were Quests.

I also went to other trainers with both Characters ; [Marcus Jensen] and [Matty]

I've also noticed that there is people with lvl 25 pets. So maybe i'm doing something wrong? Or the trainers are bugged?
