wintraders are everywhere. i think if the admins or some1 who has access to the database or arena logs could check the logs more often, we'd have less wintraders. dont just check the logs in the end of the season, check during the season too, to prevent this from happening.

 

not saying everyday, but maybe 2-3 times a week, that'd be really nice.

 

ps: ppl are wintrading in 3s everyday, so think you guys will find many of them if you start doing it

Only Admins have access to logs and other stuff.It takes some time to check this and also they have other job to do,such as fix PvP bugs.You can easy report them and GMs will ban wintraders,if there is correct proofs.After ban,those players will be disqualified from arena season.There is nothing to worry about.

You can't absolutely stop wintrading from happening. Same way you can't entirely stop cheating on any level in any circumstance.

(There's a half measure - Same IP Killing, apply restrictions to same IP address honorable killing. This temporarily or permanently locking characters or accounts for killing someone under the same IP address, but has its direct flaws for obvious reasons).

 

Staff activity, and reports from the community is what puts a stronghold against such activities.

As well as dodging queues, you can't implement a feature that would make someone not get X person(s) in a popular realms active arena queues, that's just not logical.

 

Like hacking, exploiting. Wintrading and Queue dodging is part of it.

In a lot of cases 1 side of the wintrading team (once they realize you get no conquest unless you actually join and slightly participate) you can gather a name from that. Once you have at least 1 productive name to report, a GM by default should be looking up the IP address of the user that was reported and then in hope, finding some additional names & accounts which would then be suspended in-joint with the name you reported.

 

However..

Will you catch every wintrader every time? No. That's just something you would have to come to terms with, unfortunately.

 

But if you refer to my first reply to this thread, an IP filter to set automated bans to players who kill themselves under the same IP address would put a little dampener on the popularity of wintrading as most don't have the social friendships or trusted relationships to use additional people to wintrade consecutively.

It would fuck up players with same ip, like me and my brother lol, we stopped qing in other server cuz we werent even able to play togheter at same team. Not a surprise server is down

Its not a blizzlike system, also my brother is my partner as same as alot of players got brothers/wifes who shares same ip too. Id support autschbstch idea. It wont fuck up with your gay system

The best way - to implement arena history in control panel, but for this we need to implement many things in the server core, to save all this needed information to our database and after show it in our control panel.

 

I wanna make some changes in the nearest weeks and changes to administration (maybe new employees, new vacancies). I want to improve the whole support on the PandaWoW in the game and on the forum, change control panel shop, want to make it more comfortable with all ingame sets in the shop with navigation for sets, like: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4 etc. And i have other thoughts too, but let me first do this and after i will publish a list :)

It's nice to see that there are at least plans for PWoW. Quite reassuring - just hoping that they're done soon because I've noticed a decrease in players online, whether it's because it's the summer holidays, or if it's because of the legion release. One can only hope their favourite pserver lasts as long as it can... (even coming from some1 who still has retail gametime) :P

I didn't say about developers, we can't find more developers for the core, because we can't share our sources with no-one, to prevent leaks like it was some years ago.

But for SQL it's possible if someone want to do fixes, they can do it and send me SQL files, i will check and apply, if all is fine.
