Changing between classes is good for the beginning, because you'll get to learn base mechanics of every single one of them and that will make it easier for you to get into the game.

Althou, you should stick to one spec / class at some point. After you do - best way to learn the class is practice, watching good players play the class and learning from it.

Don't just do bgs. Try some duels, so you'd know what to do in certain match ups etc.

Also a tip, that I would've loved to recieve when I started playing:

Get keybinds. This way you won't have to keep an eye on your action bars 24/7 and you'll be able to pay attention to shit that is going around you. Buffs, cc's as you have mentioned yourself.

Other than that, there's not much to tell you. Just try to enjoy the game :)

tnx for the reply i really appreciate it but at some point it starts to get really frustrating that i think about quitting and i have keybinds but i get distracted real quick that i almost never look at my frames or unit frames (idk if that's how it's called) neither my buffs or debuffs........ idk if it's just me or this is something u get used to and again ty for your answer

Addons.

3k without addons or skype on arenas, addons are not crucial

Start playing warrior, you just have to smash the keyboard like this:

I needed about 6 months to learn only basics of PvP and after year I keybinded most of my spells, after that you'll just keep getting better and better, depending on how often you play.

Throw certain professions in like Jewelcrafting and Enchanting so you have access to the gems and enchants that are ideal for your class in PvP.

Why do I feel like this guy is trolling, just like the other guy that asked for dietary/exercise advice..?

Anyways, get binds. classes have similarities so you can use the same binds for abilities that have similar mechanics which will make it easier for you to get used to every class.

Read every ability carefully and every passive (cause these are actually really important).

You can get addons to help you track diminishing returns etc... Also bgs is usually just Pve dps, especially for range...

Binds, macros and addons everything helps.

Also, what really helped me to learn my class was youtube videos and PvP guides in wow forums.

What u mean, in x100 realm¿

again ty for all of your answers and jeger i already tried that out but to me pandawow is in a whole other dimension from retail since in most of the videos i have watched in retail as a healer your partner's health does not drop from 100% to 20% in 3sec idk but again ty all i will try and learn all classes and hopefully i will improve..... and one more thing Deielrion as others do i don't have that much of a free time to do a troll thread i have a job and i mostly play at night or weekends so if i don't have time to even play why do a troll thread it doesn't make sense does it?

Playing at night and on weekends is good for you since you work. Try out characters for both factions and see which you like better. Oh, and we have a Fun realm so if PvP is your main interest, you can play there primarily or play on both realms.

6 months to learn basics of pvp since I started playing WoW (in 2009), but at start I played mostly PvE because my friends did too.

PandaWoW is never measurement of skill, reason for that being too many bugs, abusers, hackers and scripters. You can have achieved 3k here but that's equal to retail rating of ~1.6k and old AT starting rate. Rating here is a joke. Even I got 2.8k back in 2015 and I never played seriously, also played rdruid the class that I never played before in entire life ... I used to play warrior, dk, disc and lock on AT.

I went 2.3k on old AT as War/Hpal in 3.3.5, back then highest team was 2560. Also braindeadly (high rated hunter from retail) said that players are way better on AT than on retail, back then there was a lot of good pvp players from retail (many of the being youtubers) playing on AT.

Learn how to use an class doesnt mean youre good at it. Also as dkfromhell said, privates doesnt mess skills

Also a tip, that I would've loved to recieve when I started playing:

Get keybinds.

Lel i forgot completely about this shit! Do people really play without keybinds still lel? I remember like YEEEEEARS ago when nobody had keybinds, and everyone was like "I don't need keybinds I can cast fine with clicking", but people don't realise how much attention that takes lol. The whole point of keybinds is so you don't even have to look at your casting rotation. For example, once you have an OP mouse like a razer Naga and bind /target arena123 and /focus arena123 you are literally chillin and seeing EVERYTHING.

Anyway that's advanced shit yo.

For you, I would advise you to roll a Healer+Warr comp in 2s. Either play healer or warrior and just get the gist of things.

You really need to know what spells do what too, and the basics of every class. Warrior for example is basically a livelord at 30% because of second wind, which is (if only vs 1 dps) he should always pop 1 defensive (either Shield Wall or Die by the Sword).

Personally I would advise playing warrior and go 2s if you want to play dps - or go resto shaman if you want to heal.

Healing is honestly REALLY easy to learn the basics of, because you just do the same shit vs everything. Playing a DPS takes a bit more time to learn how to set up kills and how to peel vs different classes.

Oh and i should've mentioned - gear > skill all day.

If you don't have full prideful, best gems, best reforged, best trinkets ect. then you have already lost 80% of the challenge.

Honestly gear and glyphs/spec are so OP - especially in 2s where the action is slow as fuck
