Any bug abuse / exploit is bannable same like when the quest item was bugged which would allow you to socket your weapon, even your prideful weapon. This is the same case, you have double sockets & you have an extra gem which you SHOULDN'T have. Just get a new wrist and use 1 gem. Link to comment

You now have Licher and Weegee arrayed in agreement with Kofeek, and I have no doubts Shadrissa is probably going to side with Kofeek as well.
