WolfyZ Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 people say this is Pay 2 Win and some say Free 2 Play why do people say p2w? why do people say f2p? give me a good answer
Deielrion Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Never heard anyone use those phrases on this particular server. Only on custom servers where donator gear has better stats than normal gear but that isn't the case here. Most you can do with money to get an advantage over other players is buy full 550 gear the day you start playing but even then... Maybe the day pride season started and everyone had grievous gear, and if you were stupid enough to buy full pride gear then I guess that could be considered P2W?
Socks Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 (edited) if you are connecting that phrase with server, then i would say yea this is a pay to win thing because people can buy stuff Pvp / mogs / mounts / warforged gear / normal pve gear, any stuff from site for a certain amount. The only thing they have to do is farm valor...and trust me i know people who even donate for getting Valor points..like #facepalm. These pay to win players , who buy characters / gear etc.. end up being ultra noobs ! ( ends up wiping whole raid / low dps on pve / backpedal in pvp etc ). But there are some dedicated players who farm this gear.. and have worked hard or farmed a lot for mogs..donating each day to buy a mog for 50 bonus. these players who farm and spend time on gearing ...understands how to play the class and performs pretty well :) After all its personal preferance. PS : I would like pandawow admins or mods to make a difference between them by removing warforged stuff from site and Only normal availabe. Atleast show some respect to the people who play the game / spend time to farm this gear. Cheers. Edited September 28, 2016 by Socks
