My one HP WoG = 25k heal one HP HW = 14k damage 3HP WoG = 80k heal / 170k crit 3HP HW = 45k damage / 110 crit That on prot spec paladin Glyph says "damage approximately equal to heal". It's definitely bugged alright since currently, it only does approximately half the heal, lols... Perhaps not very useful to rets.... But to prot spec, incredibly useful. It's the highest dps HP ability available to prots....Need I not say it's ranged (40 yards)!!! It's great for farming mobs as prot, great for PvP too. OP, nah.... The fix will probably give you 25% dps boost if you're already spamming it with [divine purpose] but still not OP like Hunter or Warlock OP. [edit] I've read some discussions in retail and other servers. Apparently, it would be useful to rets too. Damage is almost as good as TV but you get to use this thing at only one HP and it's 40 yd range..... Definitely good PvP utility. I'm already using it in my prot in PvP, world PvE and soloing classic content, It allow me to clear mobs before they even get close! So absolutely, this needs to be fixed! crapworks Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 /bump Just want to know if this will ever be fixed or not. Kind of hoping to use it in PvP. When you're not in melee range (often in PvP), this is the only HP offensive ability that can be used by a pally on demand. Right now it's only making 1/2 the damage it should, making it kinda pointless.
Developers Neff Posted August 25, 2019 Developers Posted August 25, 2019 http://web.archive.org/web/20140228143436/www.db.pandawow.me?spell=85673 Consumes up to 3 Holy Power to heal a friendly target for 4803 to 5350 (+ 49% of Spell power) or harm an enemy target for 3694 to 4115 (+ 37.7% of Spell power) per charge of Holy Power. So, the damage should be lower than healing. If you take a look on comments http://web.archive.org/web/20140210075043/http://www.db.pandawow.me?item=41107#comments, players there noted incorrect "approximately equal" part, because it's not true. Also, our formula for this spell actually was slightly higher than intended (around 40% of spell power). Changed to 37.7%, check after update.
