The ability doesn't get removed upon dying, joining bg or anything. Only by logout.

Yes I do once you acquire the buff they simply join a BG or logout and it goes into their spell book in the "GENERAL" tab and they`re able to use it from there.

 

Big abuse to little punishment IMO.

Yes it should be, but in this circumstance they do NOT kill the boss, they take the buff and do w/e they need to make it go into their spell book in the general section, the spell should be removed upon leaving that instance and should not be able to be used elsewhere. To be honest it is the same with EVERY extra action bar spell.
