Cokeboyswag Posted May 23, 2017 Share Posted May 23, 2017 Hi guys Cokeboyswag here, As you all know, a lot of retail players came. The main reason I came to play on this server was the 3s queues. For the time being the 3s queues seem perfectly normal for a private server. I came to notice that a lot of people told me about some sort of "off-season". "The off-season has been going on for the past 10 months!" - Pandawow players whispering me. Is this true? I certainly think that the release of the new season will bring a more competetive aspect to the server thus, increasing the queues in ALL brackets. Am I wrong? I'm fairly new, and I would hate to leave the server with a sad face due to the "decrease in motivation for competition"... Now I don't wanna be pessimistic, it's good to see new players are joining the server, but if the administration kept delaying the new season, then I am afraid you're not the only one who would leave the server with a sad face. :( Some new changes have been made since you've mentioned "ALL brackets" I think that 5vs5 will be canceled and replaced with 1vs1 (not sure, we need confirmation). Garodar Posted May 23, 2017 Share Posted May 23, 2017 I'll give you a small piece of advice. Play something else until new season start, because you cant expect it soon. Dont trust anything admins say to you on here about new season, rewards, updates or promises, because we know how long their "Soon" lasts. Altough I can say new season looks promising, we know how many stuff they "promised" were fail. I wouldn't expect much, but I'd love to admit I was wrong IF the new season should start soon. ghouledpro Posted May 24, 2017 Share Posted May 24, 2017 New season will never start, its a myth, and even when we reach the point where the new season will come (minimum 2020) all retail players will be gone already... I'm trying to follow all topics in connection with the new site / season and so far i understood the Admin said already months ago that the website is finished already and some testing is missing, but ye jk. And instead working for a 3v3 soloque NPC when 90% of the server's population is waiting for a new season, you could've just release it and then work on custom specific things. I can imagine the Admin wants to bring a new update with everything together: new site, season, fixes and custom things but i don't know is it worth? There is a reason why anyone is making weekly threads regarding a new season and thats for MONTHS, nobody needs to wonder when the point comes but everybody already left the server because they switched the xpac, the game or just stopped playing in general. Thats from my point of view, i can understand that this can take lots of work and maybe the Admin has some rl issues and thats the reason why its delaying so much, but then you can atleast give some update, status or just something else, only thing i read is "we are almost done" but i think i read this already like 4 months ago so yeah... me for my side im really bored right now that i stopped playing again after 2 weeks and so are others, many decent pandawow players left the server, some said they will come back then the new season is released and the ONLY good thing right now is that really lots of retail players joined, i dont know if they care for a season or not but if they do i doubt they like to wait more 6 months for it. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
