It's not that bad of a bug, but mages still get 100% crit chance + the silence effect.

80% sure bladestorm gives all CC immunity

 

maybe it makes a difference if you get frostjaw'd whilst using bladestorm as oppose to using bladestorm to break frostjaw

bladestorm has the same effect

 

reason why i think it's not possible to freedom FJ is because it's not classified as a root, but a silence

Bladestorm removes roots, frostjaw is a root AND a silence, but a root nonetheless.

You can prefreedom FJ. This will allow you to move around but you'll still remain silenced.
