i play in 3 servers.. and pandawow its the only place im laggy af

300-400 sometimes 700ms.....

 

its just me???

I mean you can keep playing and hope for a better time but then you have updates like the previous ones and stampede oneshots you, MMR is reverted on scoreboard and other new "features" no real problems such as cross lagging or the inability to test Bugs ON cross have been adressed. Server is still 5.4.7 which doesnt even allow me to use tmorph and god knows why every 5.4.8 server ( yes, even trash 3rd world server ) manage to have a proper gameflow & spellque and so on while we are sitting on a hackfixed 5.4.7 core, which is, completly bugged out the a** over all those years. On top of that you have an outrageous amount of damage/healing on this server which is by far too much for every single class and every single spec.

 

Just try and intervene your banner on max range here. This is pretty much the game experience on pandawow in a nutshell. It's simply not fun anymore, it doesnt feel any stable at all. It feels like you are playing on something that is for sure not season 15.

 

This aint a rant but you have to be stupid to think that you can continue working on that without starting something new or do things different.

We are working on cross server merge with game server. It means, all spells, talents, etc would work the same as on game server (right now yes, there can be some differences).

About server version, can you tell me atleast one difference between 5.4.7 and 5.4.8? Things like "gameflow, spellque, intervene". that you writed, they are doesn't related to server/client version at all.

It can fix tmorph only, but i don't think that we should update server version only because of it. It's too much time for such small benefit, right now we have a lot of other important things to do.

These were rough examples made up by me. What i meant is game flow like you have a proper spellque BUILT IN already, i could name many server which didnt fix it, it was just there from the beginning. Now i know that this server exists since 2013 and the core hasnt really been updated right ? It was only the libary files such as spell db's etc. I can't tell you exactly what are the technical pro's/con's but how comes every server with a 5.4.8 core is playable fluently ? Pandawow feels super clumsy to play compared to other server (and i'm sure i'm not the only one experiencing that) and i do believe it is because we have to code things such as spellque and so on by ourself which makes it just doesnt feel right.

Probably a bad example from me but it's just a nice thing to have.

 

 

TL;DR Pandawow compared to server based on a 5.4.8 core (we all know how bad wowfr****, t***wow etc are scripted) yet they still feel 10x better to play, why is that ? Pandawow just has a super clumsy playstyle and the numbers are far off from every class. What do you hear when you adress such issues ? "JuSt FiNd BuGS" Great dude I've been looking for bugs literally DAYS without finding anything and other server arent even working halfway but it looks better there. Do we even have to continue about the issue that every update breaks half the spells ? I think that's already known

Yeah great but what about the game quality on your server, that's not important at all ? Great about all those fixes but what do they do when the bugs coming along with them negate them completly ? Aswell as who cares about bugfixes if your game feels like you play with 500 MS on a commodore 64

Well, i'll tell you a history about spellque. Early on we didn't have spellque at all, but all spells was really smooth to use and no one complains about it. One day, we found a bug with GCD time (it was a lot less than intended), as a result all classes could do more dps with it. After the fix of GCD, players start to complain about spellque, because when we fixed a bug with GCD, using spells become really difficult, especially if you have high ping (had to spam at spell a lot). And then, after some time, we implement spellque. It helps and works fine (atleast, i didn't saw any huge bugs with it), but still, it's not that smooth as before all these fixes.

So, my point is, maybe all these servers doesn't have spellque at all and they just have "bugged" GCD, which allows to use spells much earlier, than should be?

What exactly feels better? Damage/healing? You know, we fixed a lot of spell formulas and such stuff, you even tried to find bugs as we are. But looks like it works fine for most classes.

About stampede, pets from this spell started to use abilities. This bug appeared because i did some rework for them recently (for example, all stampede pets now summoned around target, also they have all passives from original pet). But i fixed it immediately as players reported it to me in pm.

What else is breaks after update? One spell isn't that huge among 100+ fixes in recent update.

Server was at 5.0.5 version in 2013. Then, it was updated to 5.4.2 and then to 5.4.7.

We are working on quality of server everyday through fixes for pvp/pve content and optimizing/cleaning server code. Also, we recently updated our server hardware, it should improve server performance.
