Currently most of the MOP encounter bosses, which do not move entirely or during a phase, few examples - https://db.pandawow.me/?npc=60491https://db.pandawow.me/?npc=60410https://db.pandawow.me/?npc=60999https://db.pandawow.me/?npc=62980https://db.pandawow.me/?npc=72276https://db.pandawow.me/?npc=71734 have the following logic:

If main threat target is out of melee range -> check nearest players and validate if one of them is in melee range:

1) If condition is true -> aggro on one of these players

2) if condition is false -> use the "no targets in melee range" mechanic, which in this case is https://www.wowhead.com/spell=144774/reaching-attack

Any information if this behaviour, which you have described is the expected just for this boss or other bosses as well, which share the same behaviour?

Perhaps the whole difference is that the boss on the official almost immediately began to make a range attack as soon as the tank departs, but we have the boss's afk moment.

So for this boss only I changed the way this mechanic will be handled.

Usually these kind of bosses try to find a new victim in melee range before using the "no targets in melee range" mechanic. From now on Sha of Pride will no longer do that, instead his melee attack will be "replaced" by https://db.pandawow.me/?spell=144774 as long as his primary target is not in melee range. So he will no longer try to switch target (unless taunted)

Will be applied after update

I think the mechanics should work a little differently. When the active tank moves away from the boss, the boss attacks it with ranged attacks for 3-4 seconds, and then changes the target if the tank has not returned. On our server, the boss did not launch range attack, but just looked at the tank in the distance for the same 3-4 seconds.

Modified it now it the way you suggested, sounds indeed better than first change I described👍
