Hello i have players harassing me in the english chat 24/7 talking about my father when he is on his death bed, using erotic content towards me, constantly using foul language and calling me sever very in apropriate names, is there any way i can get a name change for my main character to stop this? Please reply as soon as possible thank you.

Hello,

You do not need a name change, but if you want to do it anyway, there's an option for it on your account page.

What you need to do to stop the abuse, tho, is to report them here on the forum. Write a report wich includes the offender's name, realm and a picture to proove his guilt. After you do this, a moderator or a GM will make sure to have those players either muted or banned, depending on the gravity of the offense.

You're telling people not to drag it on but you drag it on via stupid comments to all of your messages.

 

It's hypocritical and childish and you need to get over yourself, if somebody is insulting you; you either need to

/leave English since that's where it is taking place or install a blacklisting addon to filter out players from your chat

As Inorichan said, there are addons that allow you to filter your chat, if reporting them doesn't work(but it should and it does).

Now, I would like to ask both of you to stop harassing each other both in-game and on this forum or there will be consequences. None of you wants a week long mute for a simple fight, do you? You had a fight, there was an exchange in bad words coming from you both and that's where it ends. From now on, try and be more civil to each other or do the next best thing and ignore each other.
