Matukaa Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 (edited) So in the last few days, I saw that the so called MMR exploit was mentioned everywhere, mostly by Casualties and I still don't know what is that exactly. Would someone explain it to me as well? I mean, how it is possible for the very high rated players to get in low ratings? It is kind of annoying, when I meet fully geared players at 1600 and by the way the beat us, it is easy to tell that they are over 2.5k rating. Once I even checked a guys rating after a match, and he had 2473, and I still don't know what the heck are they doing at 1600-1700? Edited November 25, 2014 by Matukaa
uraganuu Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I won't mention how it's done, or many would learn how it's done. :) Fighting equally skilled opponents is hard, time consuming and may be inneficient. So they group up against very very low ranked players, wich most likely use the lowest of gear, where their chances of success are as close to 100% possible. The evolution in rating is 10x slower, tho, but to them it's worth it. For example, a 2.5k+ rated player would only get 2-3 points of rating in a match versus unrated players, but the chances of them winning the match are huge, since they are both geared and alot more experienced.
fix Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 my question is, why need a mmr exploit when you it doesnt even work ;)
