Go with Mastery>Haste, have 2.2k rating and it works really well, I have seen DKs with a 3.1k ratings I think they are exploiting some bugs or something.

strength > mastery >= crit > haste

(put strength gems)

strength beats mastery and crit because it scales way higher during bursts (you have 5% spec, 35% passive, 15% weapon proc bonuses)

mastery adds more damage to half of your damaging abilities

crit increases the overall dmg

haste is for rune regeneration/ instant death coil procs

As dotadoom said, you should focus on pure strenght gems and then mastery. Reforge all Hit, Expertise and Haste into either Mastery or Critical Strike, but all your gems should be Strenght gems.

You can go with Str+PvP power in blue sockets so you don't lose the strenght socket bonus, or just ignore socket bonus and stack strenght all the way.

What do you think about gearing unholy dk. Should i get bis gear? Or full pve 4p bonus or full pvp 4p bonus?
