I haven't done this in a while but here is how it should work: Put your Prideful weapon in the 1st slot in the backpack(MUST BE FIRST SLOT) then put a legendary in the 2nd slot(MUST BE 2ND). If it doesn't accept your 20k gold, then let the Prideful weapon be in the 2nd slot and the legendary in the 1st.
