It's unfortunate really, because dealing with hackers eventually becomes a cyber-security matter and no servers have experts in that area of technical expertise.
-
It's because of the percentages involved between Guardian Spirit and Battle Fatigue that makes it clear Guardian Spirit shouldn't be affected in that last 50% percent. Battle Fatigue is already being canceled out by the 60% healing received under Guardian Spirit, which means there's no extra healing benefit being received by the target with it being active. In the long run, there's no reason Guardian Spirit can be considered bugged if you look at the way Guardian Spirit acts to counteract Battle Fatigue and not the other way around. Yes, there's still that wild 50% healing occurring when the Guardian Spirit dies, but Battle Fatigue is neutralizing and being neutralized by the heals that come from spells other than Guardian Spirit. The Guardian Spirit only itself heals the Priest or other friendly target when it sacrifices itself so the healing there remains unaffected otherwise.
-
Pujo, how's that working for you? You sent one such guide in and they never responded. Even if they managed to fix it, how long would it be before these hackers found new ones that bypass the fixes you suggest? Hackers evolve as much as the fixes to combat them do, maybe even twice as fast. And how would you find out without getting banned yourself if you couldn't even pay to unban?
-
That's why Death Pact, Exhilaration, and Desperate Prayer are affected by Battle Fatigue. Their percentage heals don't neutralize Battle Fatigue at all. As for Second Wiind, I don't think even affecting it with Battle Fatigue would matter as despite Warriors being pretty powerful, a smart DPS caster can pretty much dish out more damage than that 3% heal can make up for, especially in 3s when the Warrior would have to worry about at least 2 DPS classes as well as the healer.

No one solution is perfect, dude. People are always finding ways to get around them, and you end up back at square one. The server will fall only if the good guys doing all the reporting stop reporting cheaters, so even if it's time-wasting, continue to report cheaters anyway.

I'll post here a picture of the tooltip's description. Even if it were to be affected, the amount of healing received from outside sources as well as the total heal given if the Spirit dies renders Battle Fatigue of no effect whatsoever due to the fact the 60% received neutralizes the 60% reduced. That leaves 50% healing nonetheless.

As Brickdeleche has so kindly pointed out, this has been discussed already extensively. And I have to agree with him that it's more than likely that even if they wanted to do it, they can't right now. So it's best left at that right now. We'll see what happens in the future.
-
Yes, that's true. But I think they run it on the premise that they BOTH have to agree on it. If only one agrees, and the other refuses, it will never happen. But that's just my opinion.
-
Yeah, but in the end, neither Zeox nor Juster are likely to ever implement this. And they're the ones you have to convince to do this.
-
And here's part of mine, and also nostalgia: This is something anyone can enjoy if they so chose.

Let me give you a clue, if it wasn't affected on retail Mists, then it shouldn't be now, because either way you look at it, it cancels the battle fatigue effect out entirely. Battle Fatigue reduces healing by 60% and in-game Guardian Spirit amplifies healing by 60%. They basically neutralize each other. No other spell has a healing percentage high enough to off-set Battle Fatigue. Short of you reducing that percentage, Guardian Spirit will continue to neutralize the Battle Fatigue reduction every time. Edit: And in case you want proof of my assertion that the two ultimately would cancel each other out, here's a picture for you.

You clearly didn't even read the link I posted, Pujo. Guardian Spirit IS NOT supposed to be affected. The other three clearly are because they're heals that take effect immediately whereas the healing of Guardian Spirit does not. Pujo, I'm not about to have to deal with the possibility of never being able to kill a DK because I can't somehow do more damage than he can heal, which was the whole point of Battle Fatigue. Ultimately, there have to be spells that Battle Fatigue affects and some that it doesn't or it's a useless passive and all classes end up not being able to kill each other because they can't do more damage than the opposition's heals.
-
Okay, Pujo. Here's the answer to the Guardian Spirit question: http://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/10093369370. It's from 2013, but it's the closest to what you're asking now. It seems Guardian Spirit is NOT supposed to be affected by battle fatigue. I was wrong on THAT particular point. So only this one spell from the list you provided is exempt from battle fatigue.
-
I'll look it up. Only thing that can be done and maybe I'll find an answer on an old Retail forum or something. Edit: So according to what I found here, http://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/10093369370, I stand corrected. It is apparently NOT supposed to be affected by Battle Fatigue. Pretty old forum entry from Retail, but it checks out.

Probably. He'll be back at some point, though.

Here's the dilemma for me. If I'm going to fight in arenas, I have to be certain that I can do a lot of damage to my target. In fact, I have to be able to do more damage than the healer can heal. I rely heavily on battle fatigue to reduce the amount of healing my target receives in order to have a better chance of killing him or her in a fair fight. If a number of healing spells are not covered by battle fatigue, as Frostshotz alluded to, this can take on a number of different dimensions. It makes it even worse trying to take down a healer if certain of their spells are not covered by battle fatigue. Death Pact, by all rights, needs to be affected because of how much a DK can get back at any given time and Unholy DKs especially rely on it. So I get very nervous when stuff like this comes up because I know how much harder it'll get if certain spells no longer fall under battle fatigue. Like I said, the tooltip in-game says it reduces healing received by 60% when the target player takes damage.
-
Is that so? Which ones? I"m curious to know now. Because when it says that the player who takes the damage receives 60% less healing, that doesn't leave a lot of room for exceptions.
-
No. Pujo, without battle fatigue, DKs would be even more impossible to kill. So would healers. So, the only one that should be fixed is Guardian Spirit, because it's supposed to be affected by battle fatigue.
-
Read the freaking tooltip for crying out loud! If a player receives damage, battle fatigue decreases the amount of healing by 60 percent. That means if someone takes damage, all of those spells are and should be affected by battle fatigue, regardless of whether or not a specific percentage is named. This isn't WoD which removed Battle Fatigue altogether, this is Mists, so this Battle Fatigue mechanic is and always should be in play. Do you guys really want to have to deal with DKs that you can't kill because you can't affect their heals? Or how about Druids? Battle Fatigue is designed to counterbalance the heals that you aren't always able to interrupt. Without Battle Fatigue, no healer would be killable because they'd always be able to outheal the incoming damage you deal. So, no, all those spells SHOULD BE and rightfully are affected by battle fatigue.

@Garodar, Knock it off, man. If Zeox has to tell you to stop doing something, you're pushing too hard. Just let it go and leave him alone. -
Trick to download and install WoW MoP in less than 20 minutes

Agreed, but it's not for everyone. Some people would rather download the torrent. -
You haven't battled me, pal. You can't say those binds own me.
-
Oh, please. I've seen druids with better binds than yours.
