The cc is not the basement for the survivability, I meant tanking or smth like that, as a mage you just cannot live under the 2 melees if you don't run the whole day long. Mages have only the Glyph for the Evocation, with the 5th tier talent it could be called as a "heal", but still you cannot do that under pressure, so this doesn't count as "survivability". The thing, that you meant, is called "mobility". That's different. Dude, you've missed the point. The op wants to play RBG, not arena. There's no "right" answer, there's good advice.

Balance is the easiest class for RandomBG to play with. And this is not interesting at all. But OP wants a range class with good survivability, so, there's only the druid that has it. Destro has lots of damage, but cannot get away from more than two melee. Affli just has no survivability at all, when it is alone. Demo is something between the destro and the affli, but you still cannot get away from the dk/rogue/hunter. even if he's alone. Well, it has the biggest amount of survivability among the ranges, right after the Boomy, but you cannot run away from the melee who's chasing you. Actually, the ele is most useful when no one plays him. You just flame shock everything and spam lava in your current target. If you under pressure, you can just heal nonstop and spam instant lava. I do have three mages and i appreciate your endeavor. They're(mages) not that much bugged atm, but there're a few irritating bugs, this is one of them. Also, if there's no report about Spellsteal(it can be used if the target has no buffs that might me stolen), can you make it? Thanks once again.

He hasn't created a report yet. This one is his first. Don't blame him for this kind of mistake. Anyways the point has been got. At least in my point of view.
